Donate to Hurricane Dorian victims Sept. 9-12 at Boutwell Auditorium
The City of Birmingham, in partnership with Christian Service Mission and SummitMedia, will host a Hurricane Dorian Supply Drive at Boutwell Auditorium beginning Monday, September 9 and continuing through Thursday, September 12. The hours of operation will be 7:30 am to 5 pm daily.
The drive will focus on supplies to assist areas affected by Hurricane Dorian.
Anyone interested in volunteering during the drive may contact United Way Hands On.
Items to be collected during the supply drive will include baby supplies and diapers, batteries (A, AA, AAA, D), bikes, blankets (unused), bottled water, can openers (manual), candles, canned goods, cleaning supplies, duct tape, extension cords, first aid kits, flash lights, garbage bags, hammers and nails, insect repellent, maps (local and regional), matches, mosquito nets, paper towels, safety glasses, sunscreen, tarps, tents, toilet paper, toiletries, wipes, work gloves, and zip ties.
Clothing will not be accepted at the supply drive.
