The City of Birmingham Launches New Website with Improved User Experience The launch caps a two-year project and 10 months of work by a cross-departmental team and contractor, Interpersonal Frequency. The contractor gathered data about how people use the website, their satisfaction with the site, and expectations when using the site. The contractor utilized the data to advise the city and identify solutions to respond directly to the needs and expectations of the public.
Mayor Woodfin Updates Police Recruitment Efforts
More than 100 people have attended physical agility and abilities screenings to enter the Birmingham Police Department. Mayor Randall L. Woodfin updated the Birmingham City Council during Tuesday morning’s meeting.
City Sues Short Term Lease Property
The City of Birmingham has filed a lawsuit against Infinity Investments LLC, the owner of 828 5th Street West, and Jabari Ayinde Mosley, believed to manage the property. The city asks the court to have the property declared a public nuisance. The single-family dwelling currently being utilized as a short-term lease rental has continued to experience illegal and criminal activity on multiple dates.
