Office of Public Information

The Mayor’s Office of Public Information is responsible for implementing strategic Communication Plans on behalf of the City of Birmingham. Services include:

  • Planning special events and projects
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local and national media outlets
  • Manage all press conferences, speaking engagements, and other media related events for the City of Birmingham Mayor’s Office
  • Offer assistance to citizens with inquiries about the City of Birmingham events or services
  • Write correspondences and ceremonial documents on behalf of the Mayor of Birmingham.

The City of Birmingham also has a prominent social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Instagram
