How do I report an issue?
Please make us aware of any issues or problems you see related to roadway operations.

Call 311:

  • Report malfunctioning signal
  • Report damaged or missing sign
  • Report paving or sidewalk problem
  • Report broken parking meter

        Call Alabama Power 1-800-245-2244:

To report street light issues (i.e. street light outages, down street lights, etc.)

How do I request information?
We will work with you on inquiries and requests for repairs or changes to roadway lights, signals, signs, markings, or parking through our engineering-based assessment and determination process.

Call us at 254-2450 for:

  • Inquiry or request about street design
  • Inquiry or request about paving plan
  • Inquiry or request about sidewalk plan
  • Inquiry or request about traffic signals
  • Inquiry or request about roadway signage
  • Inquiry or request about roadway striping
  • Inquiry or request about bridge planning or inspection
  • Inquiry or request about on-street parking

 

How do I apply for permits?
We will work with you to understand and move through our permit application processes.

  • Close or block a road for a special event (race, parade, festival, etc.)
  • Close or block a road or sidewalk for construction
  • Obtain a construction dumpster permit
  • Obtain a food truck permit
