Birmingham in talks to bring the Morehouse Tuskegee Classic to the city
Birmingham, Alabama – The City of Birmingham is involved in very productive talks to move the Morehouse Tuskegee Football Classic to Birmingham.
“I am very proud of the relationship Birmingham has established with HBCUs and their students and bringing the classic to Birmingham will only enhance that relationship with two world-class institutions,’’ said Mayor Randall L. Woodfin. “We work hard to recruit major sporting and entertainment events because of the positive economic impact it has on the city and the benefit it provides to our residents. We look forward to further talks with Morehouse College and Tuskegee University.”
