City of Birmingham and US Dept of Labor to Announce a Change in Hiring Practices for the City
U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance, Birmingham Mayor William A. Bell, U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Deputy Secretary Chris Lu, and the Dannon Project Executive Director Kerri Pruitt will hold a press conference at 1 p.m. Thursday to announce a change in hiring practice by the City of Birmingham and the positive benefits it could have on the workforce and crime rates.
