Boutwell Auditorium
The Alabama State Fairgrounds has been a vital part of the sports and entertainment industry in the Southeastern United States since 1892. Hosting various different activities such as A Flea Market, High School Football from August to October, The weekly NASCAR Series short track races on its 5/8th mile short track from March to September, various live concerts to include rock, rhythm and blues, rap and country, in addition a 45,000 square foot Exhibition Space for trade shows through out the year.

The Flea Market is held the first full weekend of each month. The hours are Friday, 3-7 p.m.; Saturday, 9-6 p.m.; and Sunday 9-5 p.m. Dealer set-up begins Friday morning at 8 a.m. The Flea Market at the Fairgrounds offers three days a month of antiques and furniture, European imports, primitives, and collectibles as well as great buys on silver jewelry, unique clothing items, art, and almost any type of home decor.
