Burglary Arrests

The Birmingham Police Department reports that two suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with a burglary investigation.

On Monday, July 30, 2012, South Precinct officers located two suspects that were the focus of a burglary investigation. The initial investigation revealed that the suspects were involved in a burglary of a residence located at Abby at the Bluff apartments. Officers were able to detain both suspects and upon further investigation, the suspects were positively determined to be involved in the burglary. One suspect was also determined to have burglarized the same location on July 24, 2012.

The first suspect has been identified as:  Antonio Starks, B/M, 18, of Birmingham, Alabama. Two Burglary warrants with a $15,000.00 bond on each have been obtained against the suspect.  The suspect is in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail.

The second suspect is a juvenile.  B/M, 13, of Birmingham, Alabama.  A Burglary petition has been obtained against the suspect. The suspect is in the custody of Jefferson County Family Court.
