The Birmingham Police Department reports that a suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with a kidnapping and robbery investigation. The incident took place in the 2000 block of 10th Avenue South on Friday, October, 28, 2011.
The victims were a father, mother and son returning to their car after dinner. The suspect forced the victims to the ground and then into their
vehicle at gunpoint. The victims reported that the suspect proceeded to an ATM and forced them to withdraw money. The suspect also proceeded to a second ATM,
but the transaction was unsuccessful. The suspect later released the victims unharmed. BPD Crime Reduction Team officers located and arrested the suspect
The suspect has been identified as: Quieton Lee B/M, late 32 of Birmingham, Alabama. Three warrants for Robbery and three warrants for
kidnapping have been obtained against the suspect. A Fraudulent Use of Credit Card warrant has also been obtained against the suspect. All bonds total
The suspect is in the custody of the Jefferson County Jail.
