Law Enforcement Polar Plunge
The Birmingham Police Department reports its partnership with surrounding law enforcement
agencies by participating in the 2011 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge. The Polar Plunge will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2011 and benefit Special Olympics. Participants
can wear a costume, swimsuit, or just something to wade into the lake to get wet. Trophies will be awarded for the
best costume, largest team, most money raised, and best team name.
The 2011 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge will take place at Oak Mountain State Park
located off I-65 exit 246 in Pelham. The event will take
