Mission Statement: To serve the citizens of Birmingham by developing and implementing effective public education and community involvement programs which enhance the quality of life in beautification and environmental concerns.

Objective: To effect positive change in attitude and behavior regarding natural conservation, littering, recycling and beautification.

Meetings: The 27-member Commission, made up of community, business and government leaders, meets bi-monthly on the 2nd Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m. for one hour at Birmingham City Hall, Conference Room “A” located on the second floor.
