The Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service Department's Fire Investigations Bureau is constantly seeking ways to improve the service we deliver to the citizens of Birmingham, while fulfilling our goal of neutralizing fire and arson-related crimes in the community.
The Fire Investigations Bureau investigates all "code one" fires occurring in the city of Birmingham. We are staffed with four specially trained Lieutenants and one Captain. The goal of the Department's Fire Investigations Bureau for is to reduce incendiary fires and increase community relations.
