Mayor to Host Bond Project Working Session with City Council Members and Park Board Commissioners
On Thursday, February 4 at 2:00 p.m., Mayor William Bell will host a bond project working session with the City Council and the Park Board Commissioners to discuss the next phase of the bond projects.
“The City has many infrastructure needs. Far more than we can pay for right now, so our goal is to get together as a group and prioritize the capital projects that will have the most impact to our neighborhoods,” said Mayor Bell.
The bond projects include street paving, public facilities and park and recreation center upgrades. The bonds were approved by a public referendum in 2013, with the first phase starting in 2014. This phase will be roughly $61 million in spending.
